This indie pop duo out of LA make some sweet sweet music, this track is from their brand new EP and also appears on their third long player "Love notes/Letter Bombs" released earlier this year.
A classic! Just because it's a great tune. If you're not familiar with this band, check em out, they're rather good. This track is from their wonderful debut released nearly 10 years ago. Still fresh.
This indie rock outfit from San Diego started out life kinda folky but now have a new sound and direction, this track is from their second EP "Woman". Get it now.
Fantastic new band, only formed about a year ago. New tracks from their debut album due out in the spring. A dose of soul pop indie rock goodness, definitely a band to watch for next year, enjoy!
Wonderful band from way back when, new album due out in January. Not sure they can recreate the magic that once was!? But you never know. Have a listen to some of their tunes on the Artist Spotlight page.
How about a nice feel good track, something for the weekend? This track is from The Rifles' latest effort "Freedom Run" and a fine record it is! This is from the UK indie rockers third album and its a corker. (Oh, OK I'll also include the super great smashing first single too).
This is real talent! Australian born singer/songwriter/producer Butterfly Boucher is one of those rare talents that you find and wonder why she's not way more popular. I've been following her career for nearly ten years, she is destined for great things! Check out her video series called Alive for all the proof you need (and below a brand new song and an old pop gem).
A nice team up of producer RJD2 and soul vocalist Aaron Livingston cranking out some cool indie funk hip hop sounds, a very diverse record indeed. From the new album "The Abandoned Lullaby' out now.
Some funk rock and roll soul from the UK. This is the first new material in a couple of years (Their debut "On The Brink" is amazing!) and seems like they are working hard to diversify their sound. Check their website for a free download of the new EP.
A huge sweet yummy slice of Pop Punk Pie! A great collection of tracks on this their second long player "Gospel" out now. I'm not usually a big fan of samey same popo punkers but this is rather good! Give it a chance, you might like it.
An outstanding live act, these guys are from Cape Town South Africa and have produced a fine fine debut. Their debut record was originally self released and it's been around for quite a while. Hopefully we can hear some new music soon. This track is their latest from the album and I've also included the newest version of their video for the amazing single "Letters From The Sky".
Finally Adam has decided to embrace his fathers influences and produced a beautiful acoustic record. A much more mature sound than his Low Millions project, just stunning. The new album "Like a Man" is out now. "World class love songs" says dad!
A new track from this UK indie rock band, originally released in 2007 this track has been re-recorded for 2011. No clue why because it sounds just like the other version! But a good excuse to share. noisettes-sister rosetta (2011 version) by inmeears
Very cool Nashville band, this track is from their third LP "Wilderness" these guys have been well received in the UK for years and here in the US were the first band signed to the "Serpents & Snakes" Imprint (Kings Of Leon record label)
Brand new single from these Leeds lads, this track was not originally available when their latest album "The Future is Medieval" was released earlier this year. The song is now part of the records official track list. (You could choose 10 of your fave tracks from a choice of 20 and make up your own album) Kinda cool idea me thinks.
Great artist! Been around for many years working on lots of projects, super talented. Shawn's new long player "Sunshine" is out now. Also, check out the track below from one of his long time bands Brad.
This "best of" collection is celebrating the 21st anniversary of their first single release. Head on over to the Album of the Month page and check out this amazing Welsh rock band.
English, kind of Irish singer with an interesting R & B vocal style thing going on. The new single "I Need" will be released next month, his debut album "Lonely Are The Brave" due out in 2012.

The current single from their latest effort "Free" by these Scottish rockers. They will be playing US shows with Awolnation in November and finishing the year out touring in England. Check em out.
If you don't have any Ben Folds this would be a good place to start. "The best imitation of myself: A Retrospective" covers it all, a career spanning collection of sing a long tunes. Often dubbed the piano band that rocks. Enjoy
The Bump / Let's All Go To The Bar / Something To Brag About
Lets just call 'em alternative cause they have covered a lot of ground so far, all kinds of influences from punk, country and folk but who cares right? True to form raw rock n roll, good stuff, that's what it is! The new record "Divine Providence" will be out the end of this month, get it.
These lads from the north of England have been around a couple of years now and they rock, named after their favorite bar somewhere in America. Their third EP has just been released this month, soon we will have a full debut album.
Love, love, love this gang of brummies, head over to their Facebook page to access this FREE single. This brand new track is from their untitled new album due for release in 2012. Also be sure to check out their last album "Jewellery Quarter" and the EP "Guapa" just marvelous! (Not to be confused with the German band of the same name)
Gangsta
The musical creation of one Merrill Garbus, from her latest release "whokill". I love the experimental nature of her sound. What do we think people?
Poised to be the next big thing, Lizzy Grant with her glamorous Hollywood stage name definitely has what it takes! Lots of comparisons can be made, but it comes down to this, beautiful vocal, simple arrangement, it's just stunning. Decide for yourselves. This single is out next week. (And yes she does kinda look like Julia Roberts)
Born and raised in New Orleans the Brothers Knux (Known as Krispy & Joey) are now based out of L.A. thanks to hurricane Katrina. This track is from the knuckle Heads latest "Eraser" album.
Knots
Great new video from the super talented Irish singer songwriter. You try singing with paint in your mouth!
From her second full length album "Passenger" out now.
From her highly anticipated second album "Ceremonials" due out the end of October. This sounds like a valid attempt at world domination, wonderful stuff!
A fine act from Sheffield that emerged during the early 90's Brit-Pop invasion, sadly they did not satisfy the record labels commercial ambitions and only lasted a short while beyond their debut album before disbanding. Allow me to share one of my favorite records of that era, a few examples from a marvelous debut. Tragic.
How about some punk ska folk!? Check out these London boys with a healthy dose of punk attitude. This track is from their 3rd album "Punk And Poetry" released earlier this year.
Best known as one half of "The Last Shadow Puppets" (with Alex of Arctic Monkeys) Miles is now working solo. Some nice results! From his debut "Colour of The Trap" released earlier this year.
WARNING. For those of you easily offended, please don't press play!
New single from his 2nd solo record by the crazy poet / rapper, or whatever you want to call him. This track features Travis Barker on drums to good effect.
To help you acquaint yourself with this artist I've also included a couple of tracks from his work with Dan Le Sac, enjoy. Distraction Pieces out now.
